    Paradise Garden was the nucleus of Howard Finster’s evangelism, from which came an enormous outpouring of creative effort. This assembled painting is one of the more than 45,000 works Finster created to spread his message of Christian salvation. In it he has combined several of his favorite techniques to capture his intense personal vision, including the use of reflective surfaces, embellishments melted into plastic with a wood burning tool, and the image of Christ.
