Speakers Series - Michael Shapiro speaking to a group about exhibitions at the High Museum of Art
Michael E. Shapiro, Nancy and Holcombe T. Green, Jr. Director

The Speakers Series is designed to introduce and prepare your group for a visit to our current exhibitions, Go West! Art of the American Frontier and The Art of the Louvre's Tuileries Garden.

The Art of the Louvre's Tuileries Garden
The Tuileries, a major Paris attraction, is one of the greatest public gardens in the world. This exhibition brings Paris to Peachtree Street with picturesque boxed holly trees on the piazza, sculpture drawn directly from the grounds of the Tuileries, Impressionist paintings, and a three screen video of a stroll through the garden.

Go West! Art of the American Frontier from the Buffalo Center of the West
This exhibition considers the evolving notion of the American West through over 250 paintings, sculptures, photographs, and Native American artifacts from 1830 to 1930, and rare treasures from Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.

We consider speaking engagement requests individually and strive to create the perfect presentation for every group.

The Speakers Series is a free program provided by the High Museum of Art; however, an honorarium or donation to the museum's Annual Fund would be greatly appreciated from groups outside the Metro Atlanta area to help offset the cost of travel.

To schedule a visit, click the "Speaker Request" button above or contact Caroline Reitz at 404-733-4506 or via email.
