Gina Christman and Angelle Hamilton to Co-chair 23rd Annual High Museum Atlanta Wine Auction

High Museum Atlanta Wine Auction: March 25-28, 2015

ATLANTA, June 11, 2014 – The High Museum of Art is pleased to announce that Gina Christman and Angelle Hamilton will serve as co-chairs for the 23rd annual High Museum Atlanta Wine Auction. The Auction is the largest charity wine auction in the U.S. benefiting the arts, the eighth largest overall and the largest fundraising event for the Museum. The funds generated by the Auction, which amount to more than $22 million over the last 22 years, provide significant support to the High’s exhibitions and educational programming.

A longtime supporter of the Wine Auction, Christman is publisher of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles magazine, which has sponsored the Auction for the past 15 years. Hamilton, a wife and mother of two young children, is active in the Atlanta community, having worked with many organizations in support of their philanthropic endeavors.

“We are thrilled to welcome Gina and Angelle as this year’s co-chairs,” said Cate Candler Singerman, Wine Auction manager. “They have both been such steadfast supporters of the Auction over the years, and they bring a wonderful energy and enthusiasm that I know will make our 23rd year a resounding success.”

As in previous years, the 2015 High Museum Atlanta Wine Auction will kick off with a Secret Cellars Tour in late February 2015. The event will offer guests the chance to view the inner sanctums of some of Atlanta’s most serious wine lovers and see how their cellars are constructed and stocked.

Wine Auction week will officially begin March 25, 2015, and continue through March 28, 2015. Festivities will include: Dine Around Dinners, Winemaker Dinners, Tasting Seminars, the Friday Night Fête, and the Vintners’ Reception and Live Auction in the big top tents at Atlantic Station on March 28, 2015.
