    Editor of Flower Magazine, Margot Shaw was a late bloomer when it comes to the art of floral design. A self-proclaimed "call-and-order-flowers girl," Shaw reached a watershed moment when planning her daughter's at-home wedding. Working alongside the floral and event designer, she recognized the artistry and inspiration involved in "flowering" and soon began apprenticing with that same designer.

    She will share with us her deep appreciation for beauty and love of all things floral, including interiors, art, travel, fashion, jewelry, and entertaining!

    Art in Bloom: Alex Smith

    Alex Smith is an award-winning garden designer who has designed and implemented notable gardens and landscapes throughout the Southeast. He graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with a degree in landscape design and spent two summers in the Cotswolds of England working under the tutelage of famed British garden designer Rosemary Verey.

    Alex opened his own company in 1999 and will share his horticultural knowledge and passion for his craft with us. His projects reflect his deep understanding of architectural styles, historical gardens, and plant combinations.

    Stop by the High for a FREE flower arranging demonstration with Laura Iarocci of Faith Flowers in Atlanta. Discover designs you can make with popular garden flowers, as well as step-by-step techniques for creating wonderful arrangements. Take your skills to the next level!

    Laura Iarocci, owner of Faith Flowers in Atlanta, Georgia, is a nationally-recognized speaker and teacher on church flower arranging. For 15 years, Laura has chaired the 50-member Flower Guild at the Cathedral of St. Philip. Laura is a Certified Floral Designer (CFD) with AIFD. She has studied with leading floral designers around the world. She leads an annual European flower tour to Europe to study floral design and experience European flowers in bloom. She is Chair of the Cathedral of St. Philip Flower Guild and a featured contributor to Judith Blacklock's book Church Flowers.

    This demonstration is free.
