Woodruff Arts Center Educator Conference

Through Arts Integration and a deeper look at the Common Core Standards and 21st Century Skills, this conference seeks to transform school communities by offering arts opportunities that can be woven into classrooms and curricula while providing attendees with approaches, strategies, and ideas on how to collaborate and work across content lines in new ways.

Attendees will have the opportunity to earn two PLUs.

Each day will feature:

  • Energizing speakers from across the Woodruff Arts Center and Metro Atlanta schools and organizations
  • Two-hour sessions focusing on how to use art strategies to develop 21st Century Skills, Differentiated Learning, STEAM, and Literacy & Social Studies
  • Opportunities to preview and experience the world-class art featured and produced at the Woodruff Arts Center
  • Exciting sessions including Designing My Dream Car, The iPad Comes Alive!, Un-Common Core: Teaching Literacy Standards Through Visual Art, Yes, Let’s! . . . Active Engagement Strategies for the Classroom, Listening, Making Inferences, and Storytelling Through Collaborative Composition, and many more

Parking is FREE for this event, if you are parking in the Woodruff Arts Center parking lot (Lot A). At the end of each day, you will receive a parking chaser ticket for the Woodruff Arts Center parking lot. The pass will NOT be valid for other lots, such as the Boys & Girls Club lot.
