    Friday Jazz featuring Jason Collier

On the third Friday of every month, mark your calendar for live jazz in the High's atrium, hosted by Jamal Ahmad from Jazz 91.9 WCLK, Atlanta’s jazz station! Music, drinks, art—no matter the month, every Friday Jazz offers a great lineup featuring different styles of jazz, from straight ahead to free jazz, bebop to swing and more.

April features the sounds of trumpeter and vocalist Jason Collier. After graduating from Georgia State University, he backed some of the world’s most interesting entertainers on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Currently, Collier performs with Ruby Velle and the Soulphonics, Blair Crimmins and the Hookers, Curtis Harding, and other A-list bands in the southeast. For more information on Jason Collier, please visit his website at www.jasoncolliermusicproject.net.

Prepay for guaranteed parking or take MARTA to the Arts Center Station.

Seating for Friday Jazz is limited and opens at 6 p.m. There is no reserved seating. Standing room is plentiful. Friday Jazz is FREE with Museum admission and FREE for members.

Join us for Drawing in the Galleries during each Friday Jazz from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Drop in and sketch live, clothed models in our galleries. We welcome all ranges of drawing experience, including guests who are picking up a sketchbook for the first time! Learn More.
