  • We are proud to partner with The Museum of Modern Art's renowned film department to present Archival Gotham: NYC On Film, a series of archival films shown in conjunction with the photography exhibition Picturing New York.

The series focuses on classic films set in and around the streets of New York City. From the hustle and bustle of 1920s-era Manhattan in Allan Dwan's East Side, West Side to a 1950s Coney Island wonderland in Little Fugitive to the mean streets of 1970s Times Square in Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver, this program exemplifies the powerful role film plays in defining and preserving history.

FREE Film on the Sifly Piazza!
Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy a film alfresco. We'll screen Taxi Driver on August 11 beginning at sundown. No registration required.

Films will be shown on Saturdays in June and August unless otherwise noted. Films will be screened on the Sifly Piazza and in the Rich Theatre. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Tickets are available online and through the Woodruff Arts Center Box Office at 404-733-5000.
