Audio-Guided and Self-Guided Group Tours for Special Exhibitions
Groups can learn about the special exhibitions at their own pace with easy-to-use digital audio guides that provide expert commentary, music, and art history references. Audio guides are available on selected exhibitions only. Self-guided groups can be scheduled during all public operating hours. Reservations should be made in advance to secure availability and special offers.

Docent-Guided Group Tours for the Permanent Collection
Docents are volunteer educators who lead tours of the Museum's permanent collections. Tours last approximately 30-45 minutes and focus on the selected topic listed below.

• HighLights: Inspired by our visitors' favorite works of art, this tour provides an overview of the High's most important collections.
• Adventures in Architecture: Get to know the architects of the High Museum of Art, Richard Meier and Renzo Piano, by exploring their buildings.
• Discover African Art: Take an exploratory walk along the crossroads of African cultures. Works from Kongo, Akan, Bwa, and Yoruba traditions will guide you along the circular path of the Kikenga, the Kongo cosmogram that charts the passage from birth through adulthood, elders, and ancestors.

Please note that docent-led tours must be scheduled a minimum of three weeks in advance. Because High Museum of Art docents are trained volunteers, a guided tour cannot be guaranteed for all requests. Docent-guided tours cannot be scheduled for special exhibitions that include an audio guide component.
