Cameras are welcome at the High Museum of Art, with some restrictions. Photography permits can be obtained from the security guard at the Front Desk. Still photography for personal use is permitted in the permanent collection galleries, but the Museum cannot authorize photography of works of art in special exhibition or on special loan to the museum. Photographs featuring art from the Museum's permanent collection are not to be uploaded to the internet for use on online profiles, photo-sharing sites or personal web-pages. Please note: the use of flash photography or tripods is not allowed because of possible damage to the works of art.

If you have questions about photography policies, please e-mail the Communications team.

Cellular Phones
The use of cellular phones is not permitted in the galleries. Please step out to the lobby if you need to place or receive a call.

Coatroom
The High requires visitors to check backpacks, umbrellas and other bulky items.

Exhibition Materials
Materials on programs and special exhibitions are available at the admissions desk.

Food and Drink
Food and drink are not allowed in the Museum's galleries or Hill Auditorium. Food and drink are permitted in the High Café on the lower level of the Stent Family Wing and in the Margaretta Taylor Lobby.

Gallery Behavior
Please do not touch any of the artwork in the galleries. Many are very fragile, and even the stroke of a gentle finger can leave a residue of damaging oil on a painting or sculpture. For your protection and safety, no climbing is allowed on outdoor sculptures.

Location
The High Museum of Art is located at 1280 Peachtree Street, between 15th and 16th Streets in Midtown Atlanta next to the Woodruff Arts Center's Memorial Arts Building.
