Event Details
Jerry Siegel has operated a successful commercial photography business in Atlanta since the 1980s, but he has found his passion in his own personal work. Known for his ongoing portrait series of Southern artists, Jerry also enjoys photographing his hometown, Selma, Alabama.
His view of the Southern landscape is that of an insider who cherishes and understands its uniqueness. Many private and corporate collections have purchased his Black Belt Panoramas, Local Color, Damaged and Home series. His work has recently been in solo exhibitions in museums all over the South, including New Orleans, Atlanta and Montgomery.
Susan Todd-Racque will give us tips on collecting and share her recently published book, The Photography Collector’s Primer
