Endowing the future.

In order to maintain a standard of excellence, the High aims to generate 25% of the Museum's annual operating revenue from endowment resources. A healthy and growing endowment will improve our status among our peers and enhance our outreach to the arts community in the Southeast and beyond.

To acknowledge the generosity of patrons who endow large gifts, the High Museum of Art has established several forms of public appreciation and acknowledgement:

The 1926 Giving Society
This new giving society pays tribute to the High's historical beginnings and will honor donors whose lifetime giving to the Museum exceeds $1,000,000.

High Esteem (formerly the 21st Century Circle)
The Museum legacy society recognizes those patrons who have provided for the High in their estate plans.

Collections Gallery of Honor
Recognizes those individuals or families who have given funds to purchase art or contributed works of art appraised at $1,000,000 or higher.
