Making Africa Teacher Seminar
Event Details
October 28, 2017
9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
High Museum of Art

Educators can earn 10 professional learning contact hours in this all-day seminar that takes a close look at Making Africa: A Continent of Contemporary Design. Explore artists and designers who use their work as a tool for economic, political, and social change. Participants will investigate a range of media, including film, sculpture, game design, maps, fashion, and more. Educators will learn strategies for addressing a central question of the exhibition: “Where do we come from, and where are we going?”

Cost includes lunch; however, participants must pay for their own parking.
