Ways to Give
Donors to the High Museum of Art have helped transform it into a national leader for the arts, known for a robust permanent collection and innovative exhibitions and programs. Your Annual Fund contribution, gift of art, endowment, or estate gift will help the Museum realize its vision of continued leadership in the regional, national, and international art communities.
Your donation to the High Museum of Art’s Annual Fund is fully tax deductible and supports a wide range of exceptional exhibitions and educational outreach programs. These initiatives, along with school tours and after-school programs that reach tens of thousands of students each year, are made possible by your generous support.
Gifts of Stock
Giving appreciated securities, such as stocks and mutual funds, is an excellent way to support the High Museum of Art. Such gifts are simple and may provide a greater tax benefit than an equivalent gift in cash. Download instructions for transferring gifts of securities. Your gift to our endowment:
- Supports innovative and meaningful exhibitions
- Elevates the quality of the Museum’s permanent collection
- Underwrites current expenses for education and programming
- Provides a legacy of long-term financial security that enables us to accomplish our mission and maintain our ongoing facilities operations

A bequest is one of the simplest and most popular ways to make a gift and a great way to help the High Museum of Art. By including the Museum in your will, you can help ensure the quality of the Museum’s collections and programs for generations to come. Whether you wish to provide general operating income for the Museum or to support a specific department or program, your bequest expresses your lasting commitment to the High.
A bequest to the Museum may also help you meet your financial and estate planning goals because it is eligible for an estate tax charitable deduction equal to the entire amount of the bequest.
